Purdue News-Experts say fairy tales not so happy ever after

"In the recent film "Shrek," which follows a traditional fairy tale format, the beautiful maiden lives happily ever after when she is transformed into an ogre. I think that this is right because Shrek an ogre ended up marring a beautiful princess and when they kissed fiona transformed into a ogre her self and they lived happily until Shrek 2. this is a good "fairy tale" in the sense that it shows that you dont need to be beautiful to have you happy ending.
